Child protection and access to education
Support for the whole household awareness rising
Case referral to match those who need with the right service providers
Community engagement dedicating specific group activities to evaluate needs and orient our actions together

Education
Learning Together
These sessions include a variety of activities, including language support in Turkish, Arabic, and English, and recreational activities such as art, theatre, cinema, and games.
This activity's primary objective is to enhance the children's language skills and provide a creative outlet for self-expression and collaboration within peer groups.
Non-formal education activities are particularly vital for children who may have experienced disruptions in their formal education due to displacement. These sessions not only help bridge educational gaps but also provide a sense of normalcy, aiding the children in coping with the challenges they face. The activities are implemented in a safe and colourful child friendly space.

The case referral mechanism is essential to empower BC participants and meet their needs, scaling up BC’s impact on the ground and helping service providers to have a wider reach for supporting the most vulnerable families and individuals. KR supports access to services for refugees with a constant back and forth follow up process mediating between participants and service providers.
Together we are stronger

This includes actively involving parents and caregivers in the process and coordinating with external providers (e.g., hospitals) when further assistance is needed.

The center engages with the community through group and individual sessions, supporting over 100 Syrian refugee families in Turkey. Individual sessions are available on booking with a dedicated phone line for both adults and children. The venue also has a dedicated child friendly room for children.
